Since
2000, the O.E. bolt supplier for both Mercedes
Benz and BMW has changed their manufacturing
process.
These
new bolts now have a very slight concave on
the side of the bolt where the lug wrench fits
(see drawing).
It
is not truly flat. |
|
|
|
As
a result, Lug Bolt Covers that formally
fit fine, now can be a little loose and
may come off.
This has
caused us to design a NEW Lug cover. |
|

| Now
we offer 2 different part numbers.
One for the
new style concave O.E. bolts.
One for flat
O.E. and all aftermarket bolts.
We have
designed the parts in a way so it is easy for
you to tell the difference.
Turn the
bolt cover over and look at the inside (see
drawings).
